A thunderstorm dropped 0.94 inches of rain in 30 minutes in Hanksville, producing flash floods east of town on Bull Creek.
NOAA record 5327870 ↗Heavy rains falling on Slickrock caused flash flooding in Zion National Park. A landslide occurred near the east entrance tunnel, blocking the road. Flash flooding also occurred on Pine Creek and near the Watchman Campground.

The floods also tore large propane tanks loose and swept them away. About 30 structures sustained damage, most of them residential homes. No deaths or major injuries were reported.
