    A peak wind gust of 68 mph was recorded at the Logan-Cache Airport. Widespread power outages were reported, with Rocky Mountain Power reporting 13,000 customers lost power. Numerous large trees were downed, including a tree estimated at 140 years old.

    Strong winds knocked over two hay barns in Lewiston, Utah. Both barns were 30 feet wide; one was 80 feet long and the other was 100 feet long. The barns were used to store hay, and the toppled hay buried about 20 calves, though none were injured. In addition to the barns, an empty semi-trailer in a parking lot in Logan was knocked over by the winds.

Generally 2 to 3 inches of snow fell across the Cache Valley through the storm. Combined with the fact that most trees still had their leaves intact, many fallen tree branches were reported, causing power outages to several hundred homes.

Where NOAA lists a wind speed in knots we show it in miles per hour; everything else is verbatim.

Locations are NOAA's own county and National Weather Service forecast-zone names, which is why you will see both Salt Lake and Wasatch Mountains South of I-80. A storm not listed here was not necessarily absent β€” it means NOAA has no recorded report for it, which is common for isolated hail.
