Mesonet observations in addition to the Logan-Cache Airport ASOS recorded periods of moderate wind gusts (generally 20 to 30 mph), and significant reductions to visibility (at times 1/4 of a mile or less) as a band of heavy snow moved through the area. NOAA record 1149375 βLANDSPOUT. Location: 41.95, -112.07. Broadcast media shared a public video of a landspout northwest of Clarkston, UT in an open field. No damage was reported with this landspout. The observer who relayed the report and video to broadcast media reported the time to be approximately 3:30 pm MST. NOAA record 1131400 βAn area of showers with minimal discernable convective elements resulted in a period of high winds. The Logan-Cache Airport ASOS measured multiple wind gusts of 63 mph. The US-91 at MP 39 Richmond mesonet sensor also measured a wind gust of 63 mph. Other lesser wind gusts are noted throughout this time, with winds gradually diminishing through the morning hours.
