NOAA record 478794 ↗In the morning hours of September 2, heavy rain over State Route 6 caused a mudslide approximately 10 miles southeast of Soldier Summit. The road was closed for about 8 hours as crews cleared away the mud, and the slide temporarily closed parts of a construction project in the area. The mudslide also caused some damage to a local farm on the other side of the road.
