NOAA record 1291259 ↗A fire-induced tornado occurred at the Deer Creek Fire near La Sal, Utah on July 12th. The tornado was rated an EF2 with a path of 100 yards wide and winds estimated at 122 mph, lasting approximately 12 minutes. Storm surveys indicated extensive roof damage to a home and several outbuildings were also damaged.

NOAA record 1276952 ↗Flash flooding was reported along Taylor Canyon on the afternoon of June 4h. This flooding eroded a six food embankment along White Rim Road in Canyonlands National Park, and carried sediment all the way to the Green River. Additionally, several washes along Taylor Canyon Road ran and washed out sections of Taylor Canyon Road. No other damages, and no injuries or fatalities, were received.
