NOAA record 1311899 ↗Utah Highway Patrol reported numerous traffic accidents on I-15 between approximately the Nephi exit and roughly two miles northward. The volume of accidents resulted in the southbound lanes of I-15 being closed and traffic being detoured through the city itself. The winter weather is assumed to be the likely cause of the incident.
