NOAA record 5327870 ↗Heavy rains falling on Slickrock caused flash flooding in Zion National Park. A landslide occurred near the east entrance tunnel, blocking the road. Flash flooding also occurred on Pine Creek and near the Watchman Campground.
NOAA record 5327869 ↗The worst flash flooding in the town of Tropic in 40 years occurred as over 2 inches of rain fell over the area in 90 minutes, sending torrents of mud and water down the center of town and into houses and basements. The floods also tore large propane tanks loose and swept them away. About 30 structures sustained damage, most of them residential homes. No deaths or major injuries were reported.

Two parties of 4 hikers were trapped near The Narrows, and were forced to stay overnight as the waters receded. They hiked out the following afternoon and were rescued.

NOAA record 5177624 ↗Heavy rains on the north end of the Oquirrh Mountains brought a river of mud, ash, and water into some yards in Lake Point. The rains fell over an area which had lost the erosion-controlling vegetation from a fire back in July. Up to six inches of mud and ash covered the yards.
