NOAA record 986712 ↗Zion National Park dispatch officials reported a rockslide due to excessive rainfall along the Scenic Drive north of the Visitor Center. A portion of the road was damaged due to the slide, and was closed as a result. In addition, the river gauge on the North Fork of the Virgin River near Springdale had a sharp rise and peaked at 1690 CFS, corresponding to a rise of over 3 feet.
