NOAA record 1111370 ↗COOP observer reports included snowfall accumulation of 20.0 inches at Springville, 18.7 inches at Alpine, 14.0 inches at Spanish Fork Power House, 12.0 inches at Santaquin Chlorinator, and 10.0 inches at Lehi.
NOAA record 1094990 ↗Snow Squall. The US-6 @ Eureka mesonet site reported periods of heavy precip (snow) and gusts to around 35 mph with visibility down to a minimum of approximately 0.29 miles.
NOAA record 1089299 ↗Snow Squall. The US-6 @ Eureka mesonet station recorded a period of wind gusts from 51 to 70 mph and visibility between approximately 0.12 to 0.37 miles with moderate to heavy precip reported (snow) as a snow squall moved through the area.
NOAA record 1088569 ↗An initial peak wind gust of 67 mph was recorded at the US-6 @ Eureka mesonet site at 6:50 pm 3/14, with subsequent gusts between 58 mph and 61 mph noted thereafter. Additionally, a wind gust of 58 mph was recorded at the Lake Mountain mesonet site at 4:40 am 3/15.
NOAA record 1087916 ↗Several hours of high winds were observed throughout the Utah Valley, with the US-6 @ Eureka mesonet sensor recording a peak gust of 78 mph at 12:40 am, with several other gusts in excess of 58 mph throughout the time period. The Flight Park South mesonet sensor also recorded several gusts in excess of 58 mph.
NOAA record 1087840 ↗Snow Squall. Visibility dropped to a minimum of 0.2 miles with a peak wind gust of 44 mph at 6:00 pm MST at the US-6 at Eureka mesonet site. A peak snowfall rate of around 2.25 inches per hour was also noted.
NOAA record 1089076 ↗A snowfall accumulation of 12.0 inches was observed at Provo. Springville received a snowfall accumulation of 10.0 inches with 1.12 inches of snow water equivalent.
NOAA record 1083958 ↗Mesonet observing stations reported widespread anomalous cold, with areal median 3-hour minimum wind chill values of approximately -1F. The coldest 3-hour running average noted was -12F at the West Mountain South mesonet site.
