Sandy picked up 11.6 of snow with 1.37 inches of snow water equivalent. At the National Weather Service Weather Forecast Office Salt Lake City, UT, 10.5 of snow was recorded with 0.90 inches of snow water equivalent.

NOAA record 1063254 ↗LANDSPOUT. Location: 40.710, -112.040. A landspout tornado was observed for approximately 8 minutes over undeveloped land on the northwest side of West Valley City. No damage was reported. Location is approximate and based on eyewitness accounts.
