NOAA record 207782 ↗The Stockton Bar sensor recorded strong wind gusts for several hours, with a peak gust of 61 mph. The Tooele #2 sensor also recorded a 59 mph wind gust.
NOAA record 201995 ↗A maximum wind gust of 66 mph was recorded at the I-80 at Lake Point sensor.
NOAA record 200357 ↗The Great Salt Lake Marina sensor recorded a maximum wind gust of 68 mph. Other observations included 67 mph at Vernon Hill and 61 mph at the Vernon sensor.
NOAA record 197183 ↗Recorded wind gusts in the Salt Lake and Tooele Valleys included 71 mph at South Mountain, 63 mph at Baccus, and 59 mph at Stockton Bar. The strong pre-frontal winds blew down a large billboard in downtown Salt Lake City (near I-15 and 600 South), and knocked down several trees and power lines. In addition, a semitrailer was knocked over on I-15 at the Salt Lake/Utah County line.
