NOAA record 702545 ↗Heavy rain fell across the Salt Lake Valley on March 23. At the Sunnyvale Apartments on 3940 South 764 West, two families had to evacuate their apartments due to flooding. Relatively close by at the Salt Lake City International Airport, 1.97 inches of rainfall was recorded; this was the wettest day on record for the month of March, and the 6th wettest day since records began in 1874.
