Many roads were closed or impassable due to flood waters, including Highway 14, the 3rd South Connector in Kanab, and US-89 east of Kanab, the last of which had 12 inches of water flowing over the road. Logs were removed that were 10 feet overhead in the slots, and new pools of water had formed. In this event, the Buckskin Gulch flooding was primarily due to rain that fell over Coyote Valley.
