Clear all filtersThe Carbon County Regional Airport/Buck Davis Field ASOS recorded a period of wind gusts to 61 mph as a result of outflow winds associated with a nearby cluster of showers and thunderstorms moving through the area.
NOAA record 1131388 ↗The Utah Department of Transportation reported a significant debris flow over U.S. Highway 6 due to heavy rain over the Bear Fire burn scar area in Price Canyon, along with supporting video evidence. Due to the debris, the road remained closed into the following morning.
NOAA record 1124224 ↗Heavy rain resulted in a debris flow at the Bear Burn Scar. The flow remained internal to the scar and did not cross US-6, although there were a few softball-sized rocks that made it onto the roadway.
