    The Groome weather station recorded an initial peak gust of 66 mph at 5:39 pm MST, with final lesser gusts of 63 mph at 6:05 and 6:06 pm MST. These wind gusts were associated with a cluster of strong thunderstorms and their associated outflow winds which were moving through the area.

Locations are NOAA's own county and National Weather Service forecast-zone names, which is why you will see both Salt Lake and Wasatch Mountains South of I-80. A storm not listed here was not necessarily absent β€” it means NOAA has no recorded report for it, which is common for isolated hail.
